Melon Music Awards (MMA) 2020 telah merampungkan rangkaian pertunjukan musik dan penghargaan pada 5 Desember 2020. MMA 2020 telah berlangsung sejak tanggal 2 Desember kemarin yang diselenggarakan dengan konsep konser musik virtual. Sementara malam penghargaan puncaknya ditayangkan secara live online tanpa penonton karena pandemi COVID-19.
MMA 2020 dibawakan melalui Kakao M dengan berbagai penampilan dari sederet musisi K-Pop terpopuler tahun ini. Mulai dari Weeekly, CRAVITY, TXT, MONSTA X, IZ*ONE, OH MY GIRL, THE BOYZ, BTS, masih banyak lagi. Untuk dua tahun berturut-turut, BTS kembali memborong penghargaan Daesang di MMA 2020. Hal ini berkat kesuksesan mereka melalui album Map of the Soul: 7 dan kepopuleran lagu Dynamite. Sementara CRAVITY dan Weeekly berhasil membawa penghargaan New Artist of the Year, menjadi pembuktian akan keberhasilan mereka debut tahun ini.
